Who says the Bears never spend money? Last year the Bears pulled off an unexpected trade to bring Jay Cutler to our fine city. We lost a first and third round pick, but it will pay off and we did reach an contract agreement with Mr. Cutler that will keep him in Chicago for the next 8 years. That's all fine and dandy, but what we should be excited about is the fact that we actually paid the big bucks for him. This off season we dove into the free agent market and signed the best free agent available who just happens to be the best at his respective position. We paid him the big bucks also. We are starting to realize that getting less than mediocre talent so that we can pay less than mediocre dollars is not working and it is no longer a part of our M.O. Going forward................DA BEARS!

Summer awaits!

Oh yea, there's this little thing called Spring. If you had the power to control the weather how would you control it? I would have it so that we would never see another full day of rain nor a full month of snow. I guess the folks with snow plows and ski resorts would have to make a living so they had better get it done in 4 weeks. I would have it so that summer sports can be played for 11 months out of the year! OK God I'm ready. Give me the POWER!
