Let'em play

We all agree that a healthy kid is a happy kid. That being said, let'em play. I'm not talking about Play Station, XBOX, or Wii I'm talking about good ole fashion kickball, tag, and hide & seek. The combination of fast foods and video games is a deadly one. Child obesity is a major problem among american children largely due to an inactive lifestyle. Sign them up for soccer and let'em play.

iPad?????????????

You people know that I am an avid sports fan, but every now and then I tend to say.......What??!!!! Steve Jobs, CEO and founder of Apple Computers, introduced his latest creation of technical bliss. We waited with much anticipation to see what was going to be the "next big thing" in the world of technology. Back in 2007 the Apple Corp. introduced the notorious IPhone. The IPhone was and still is a great creation giving consumers a "go any place" phone/computer/navigation device yada yada yada...Today Apple introduced...........are you ready for this one?.............here it goes...................THE LAPTOP! The nerve of Apple, re-inventing the wheel. Wow! What's next a black President?

Go Brett Favre.....and take your cheap jeans with you.

Being a life long Bears fan I've experienced a lot of joy and a lot of pain. I watched Walter Payton break Jim Brown's all time rushing record. I remember being a 13 year old boy sitting in front of the television with my dad and my brother watching Super Bowl XX and witnessing the Bears totally crush the New England Patriots, and that's when it all went bad. The Green Bay Packers used to use the Chicago Bears as......."Bear meat." Brett Farve was a big part of those painful years and I can not wait to confirm the good news that he will retire from football for good. The announcement alone won't do it for me. I need to hear that after making his announcement he tripped over the podium and broke every bone in his body. That would help me sleep at night. Even though he won't end his career as a member of the Green Bay Packers I would still like to trick all Packer fans into Lambroke Field and chuck a homemade grenade over the west end wall and onto the 50 yard line while exploding and sending skunk poo and sour lemonade into the eyes of all attending. There, I said it. Stay classy Chicago.

IS TIGER ADDICTED?

We've all seen a person addicted to something. I've witnessed people addicted to crack cocaine, alcohol, prescription drugs, and cigarettes. something that I've yet to witness is someone being addicted to sex. I have used the phrase "sex is addictive" over a million times, but I wouldn't pay for it nor will I ever not go to work because of it. Is it possible for a person to be addicted to sex? Maybe. The common person would be considered a cheater or sinner if caught cheating on a spouse but, when there are hundreds of millions of dollars to be considered then new terms are used. Tiger Woods got caught cheating on his wife and he is addicted to sex. NOT! Tiger, you've made a mistake as we all do and God forgives you. In my opinion, it's easier for Mrs. Tiger's friends and family to support her for working on her marriage if her husband has an addiction and not just being a cheater. Don't believe everything you hear, I doubt that Tiger stands to lose $300,000,000. She'll be wealthier if she stays that's what her lawyer told her. Looks like Tigers new name is Cheetah.

Cubes target Dye, Bears target.....anything breathing.

Our beloved Cubs have their eyes set on former White Sox outfielder Jermaine Dye. Great idea considering our overpaid left fielder is aging, can't run, can't catch, can't hit, can't see, can't hear, can barely breathe ect, ect. Dye is also on the crap side of his career, but the Cubs can get him at a discount price since there is not a market for him. He'll serve as a good part-time (full-time) left fielder with great experience and proven leadership. Sign him.

BEARS TARGET GARY COLEMAN FOR DEFENSIVE COODINATOR! Da Bears should probably show a little patience and wait until after the playoffs are over to try and scoop up an assistant from one of the great teams in the league. Bear Down!

Ready yourself Jay

Jay Cutler showed us what we were all looking for but it took him 14 games. I'll be real ticked off if he doesn't continue his efforts into this upcoming season. The last two games of the season Jay threw 8 TD's and 1 interception. That's great but, are you ready Jay? Stay healthy and be careful in Santa Claus over the summer. Santa Claus, that's right.
